He's Just Simply Amazing

The first time i come across his name and talent was when he visited China. If am not mistaken it was in 2004 if not early 2005. He was featured in CCTV 9 with his piece Kolibre. I took note of his name and find his CD in the music shops and presto i got it right away. When i reached home, the first pc onthe CD was this music Kolibre and i can't forget that i danced all throughout the whole pc. I jumping dance on my bed to the living room - dance like crazy joining the beat of the music. Even now writing this, i can vividly remember the passion i had on those moves. Now, maybe you will think am crazy, but listen to the music here and see if your body would just be still as you listen:

Ladies and gentlemen, presenting to you, Maxim Mrvica in You tube with his piece - Kolibre.
Set your volume high and enjoy the music. :-)

on waiting

are you good at waiting? can you wait for someone or anyone for an hour or two and still all smiiles and feeling good when the person arrives. or you can still smile but your inside is burning with anger and your blood pressure shooted up silently. hehehe

well, if i have to answer that, i can say it depends on the person i am waiting for. there are different people that come to our lives and we can meet different people anytime of the day. let me enumerate the following type of people who will let me wait and see my reaction. i know each one of has have different patience level so my patience level will also vary on the people who let me wait.

1. my sweetheart or bf - if he lets me wait and hour and i will "feel" it was unintentional, pwes! when he comes, he can't find me on the spot anymore. am off to the mall or maybe off to home. LOL! but if he lets me wait in an airport - i would wait the whole day if i knew he made the flight and he contacted me that i should not leave the airport even if i have to wait 5 hrs or more.

2. my daughter/son - i would wait. i would smile. even an hour will do but the sermon will be endless. hahahahaha.

3. my mom - i would wait until she comes. without complaining out loud. i will do my complaining just in my thoughts.

4. my father - i would leave as soon as i get bored. hahahaha. he is already big and very much able to find his way. except maybe if i am gonna wait on him in a bus terminal or airport in a foreign place.

3. work related persons - incase am told to meet an official visitor at the terminal or airport and has not come in an hour or two, well, i don't have to complain because am paid being there. hahaha. but if the place is not a nice place for waiting like being crowded and people smokes - haiii i would surely complain inside me.

4. friend - i would leave after an hour or two or it depends on the place. now that texting is available, i won't wait that long it depends if he or she really asked me to wait for that long.

5. bus/plane/vehicle - long time before, i find myself complaining for delayed trip schedules. but as i get older, i tend to be patient. i would like to think that the time is now my own. it is God's property. So i have to depend on him. Who knows a delay will prevent me from an accident. Who knows a delay will cause me to meet the future love of my life. Who knows a delay will enable me to help a person who really needs help. right?

and you? are you that patient or are you also impulsive at times, like me?

Zits Galore

another one is about to pop up on my forehead almost to the temple.
at times i want to believed that i was cursed by the gods because i just have a flawless face. the gods maybe thought that i deserve to have zits from time to time. i thought my zits or let's say acne if it's worst just comes seasonal. but no - it's not. once one is over with the cycle another one grows up again. i really wonder when would all this ends. maybe a change of environment will help me have a better skin. especially an environment that has 4 seasons. oh how i wish that this country has 4 seasons. well, we do have but it's a type of vegetarian dish - not the seasons as in weather. hehehehe
just got home from a COOP seminar. it was interesting. interesting than FICCO before. i might register one of these days when my money will amount to 1,900.00

Camera Critters - August 3, 2008

Camera Critters

I purchased them last Friday afternoon for pesos each. I really dunno if they gonna live long as the mommy hen here won't accept them. Poor chicks. They just stay inside this can and also a bigger one and they roam around our living room. Mom is scared to move inside the house while they roam around because they are so small and u won't know that they are following you. So they are prone to accident. :-)

Well i just wish that mom's buddy can make a screen cage for these 2 chicks. :-)

On August 2 > If you are given a chance to live again,
would you still choose to live the past life that you had?

Why not? The highschool life and even before that and also the college life. Life was fun and the responsibilities were still lighter as it is now. If i still have the freedom now to do what i wanna do, if i want to go back past, i'd love to experience that freedom again. Though money was scarce but carefree life was great. Now, though i am earning, yet the responsibilities are just too much that you can say - it's not a carefree life anymore.

Happy August everyone!

Ideal Investment

One of the best investments to do while you are still alive and active working is to invest in properties. I really admire those young people at 35 who has already accumulated more than millions of properties. Real Estate just like Nicaragua real estate. I know not all of us are destined to be on luck right away, but with hard work and determination, one can realize his or her dream of having a comfortable twilight years when time comes.

Nicaragua is a coastal country so you can imagine that Nicaragua property deals with properties that makes you feel like you are in a paradise here on earth. Nicaragua real estate offers many beach front properties at very affordable prices.

Properties along the shorelines or the beachfront properties are best buys nowadays. And one of my friends is investing on it now. He likes the one that's like Nicaragua beach property. There are similar properties here around, so maybe he will pick one like that as he said it's not only for him but also for his future family's family.
So thinking of grand investments? Check out Nicaragua Real Estate. YOu can either call the USA office or the one direct in Nicaragua.

Improved FBS Result

I still haven't had anything since before 5 pm yesterday. I didn't mean it then just at 7 pm when i was thinking of having my dinner, i remember that i should be on fasting because i will undergo FBS test this morning and guess what's the result?

Am grinning because it's down to 100 mg/dl compared to the 116 mg/dl 3 months ago. That's normal!!!! yeheyyyyy!

I know it's not much to be happy about because it's still a hundred. But 110 is the step into the insides of the Diabetic Home eh. Well, i still got a long way to go but i am sure it will never go up that 100 again. I am working out to make it lower than than and also control my weight. But i never increased my weight again since 3 months ago though i still look chubby and hey i will never look bamboo thin ever -- this is my structure. So those who would tell me that i should be skinny or what, then sorry na lang. You will never get your wish ever. You have to love me the way i am. ;-) oh diva?

Hey am off to to m breakfast now! I was NPO for more than 12 hours already. Am still ok though but i don't like that it will come to the level of having low sugar na coz of hunger.

"Kano" "Kana"

If am not mistaken, people in Tacloban or Leyte, they call Cebuanos as "kana" for women and "kano" for men. I had the privileged of staying there for almost two months when i joined the first time student "canvassing" - canvassing of books or in simpler terms, selling books. We sold books printed by the Philippine Publishing House. Anyway, going back to the terms - they call us folks from Mindanao as kano or kana. We did not know that when they asked that they were referring to us. Because for us from Mindanao we refer to American woman for "kana" and American man for "kano". Kana/kano from the word AMERICAN or AMERIKAN. So if we use that term here in our area, we are sure that you are referring to a person who is native AMERICAN.

Now we were wondering why us from Mindanao were called kano and kana. The first time we heard it we tried explaining that we are not "kano" or "kana" but we are Bisaya from Bukidnon. So there was sort of confusion later that they gave us the following explanation and it is somewhat funny.

KANA in cebuano is "that." When we point at something or sharing the information of direction to someone, we use ther term "kana" in which am sure that term is not used by any waray.

KA/NO? or kano is an affirmative ending of a question like this --- bisaya ka no? (are you bisaya?) which a bisaya will answer " oo" or yes. Or like the following questions:
1. gigutom ka no? (are you hungry?)
2. katulugon ka no? (are you sleepy?)
3. Waray ka no? (are you waray?)
Well, i think i just heard someone outside askign someone a question with a NO at the end -- so i thought about this. :-)
Pleasant evening to all. Connection here is not that cooperative. :-(
